Three hatchlings share the marsh: Pearl the cream-white, Soot the charcoal-black, and Brick the clay-red. They are a family, not types that beat each other.

  1. Pick a house

    Wear Pearl, Inkling, or Russet. Cards from your house get +1 in a duel. House stars grow when you read and when you win.

  2. Play a card

    Highest power wins the round. Boost, Shield, and Swift are printed on the card. First to 3 rounds wins the nest. Nobody’s color beats anybody else’s.

  3. Book desk and packs

    Read nest chapters and kid-safe tellings. Zen unlocks any card. Rip packs open by pulling the foil, then draw five feathers.
